Port Harcourt Refinery Begins Production In 2 Weeks — Kyari

The group chief executive officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, has said that the Port Harcourt Refinery has received 450,000 barrels of crude for processing following the mechanical completion of the plant in December last year.

The new Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola formally resumed office on Friday, promising to prioritise effective communication at all levels to enhance innovation, collaboration and synergy.

Nigeria gets most payout from Shell in first since 2020

Nigeria has regained its position as the biggest recipient of payments from Shell as production entitlement, royalties, taxes and fees to the government in 2023 amounted to $4.92 billion, the highest in four years.

UK’s Savannah acquires Sinopec stakes in Nigeria’s oil field

Savannah Petroleum PLC has acquired 100 per cent of the stakes of Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation in Stubb Creek Field.
