Port Management Association of West and Central Africa (PMAWCA) has granted hosting rights to its 43rd yearly Council and 18th Managing Directors’ Roundtable to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

The Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), has said that as part of efforts to explore the newest technologies in Biofouling and in compliance to International Maritime Organization (IMO) rules, it is hosting a 3-day Biofouling Management Training for coastal states within the African continent.

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) says the commission is committed to effective implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA 2021) for the sector to contribute more to national economy.

The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has put its members on alert for a nationwide strike after labour leaders were attacked and brutalized in the southeastern state of Imo.
